The new year can be overwhelming with ongoing demands from family and work life. The added pressure of having to create and achieve New Years Resolutions can seem daunting. Here are a few resolutions made easy just for you moms!
1. Make ONE dinner
Instead of making separate dinners for the adults and the kids, make 2017 the year that the kids expand their palette! The children can eat what the adults eat – just a kid-sized portion.
2. Go GREEN
You don’t have to go buy a Prius and install solar panels on your roof in order to be environmentally aware. Start small. From holiday cards to post-its! Make an attempt to go green this year by eliminating paper refuse, and transition to technological resources. For cards and pictures – try utilizing slideshows and Evites. Decrease waste by using apps and smartphone features to keep track of your schedule and reminders (instead of Post-its and scheduling books).
3. Make exercise FUN
Hate going to the gym? Trust me, we get it! Try running around in the yard or at the park with the kids. You could even organize small competitions within the family in order to inject some laughter into every workout. Who knew you could burn calories and make fun family memories at the same time??
